Addicted To Blush Tag

Hello Pretty People!
So I saw this tag circulating in my Bloglovin feed and decided to give it a whirl, and I have to admit, it was fun looking through my blushes and choosing which ones I'd use for these questions. It also made me notice how I have a very large amount of peach colored blushes in my collection, which is quite an interesting thing since I don't even wear peach colored blushes that frequently.........hmmm. Anyway, let's jump into this tag!

1. What color blush suits you the most?
Any sort of lighter pink looks really good with my skin tone. I really like mauve colors and lighter ballerina pinks. For a go to mauve, I love the Sonia Kashuk Blush in Pink which is a really beautiful muted pink shade that has a hint of purple. It goes on like a dream and I love to use it on my contour line for a soft shaded look during the colder months. For a nice pale pink, I like the Pony X Memebox Blush in Galaxy Pink is made up of 4 different colors to choose from; Baby pink (the lightest shade) is a pale pink, Gracey Pink is a muted toned mauve, Warm Pink is an enhancing peachy pink, and Indie Pink is a great natural flush color. Last but ceratinly not least, I love the Laura Geller Blush in Bora Bora, it looks so good with my skin tone and enhances my skin in an extremely natural way.

2. Pressed, Cream, or Loose?
This mostly depends on the season for me. In the summer months, I'm a big fan of cream blushes, since it gives a nice dewy glow to the cheeks, and doesn't feel as heavy as powder on the skin. I'm a huge fan of the Josie Maran Coconut Water Color Cheek Gelee in Honeymoon Honey during the hot months because it has a really nice lightweight texture and it helps to enhance my tan with it's burnt honey color. Also Nars Multi in Orgasm is a dream for fans of the original powder formula as it provides a nice wash of this cult shade. The gold shimmers are so pretty for the warm summer months and the peachy shade helps to enhance my skintone.
During the Colder months, when I favor a matter look, I opt for pressed powders. They are very easy to apply and I like the look of it on top of matte base products. Some powders that I really like for the winter are the Sonia Kashuk blush in Pink and the Innisfree Eco Blush in Romantic Pink. Sonia's Pink is really nice during cold months to enhance paler skin tones. Romantic Pink is gorgeous during colder months, providing a gorgeous shimmer on pale skin, brightening the whole look.

3. Favorite shimmery blush?
Currently my favorite shimmery blush is the Purmineral's Hot Rocks Pebbles, which gives me a really pretty light wash of warmth with a touch of shimmer, for a really beautiful natural flush that looks great on top of some bronzer.

4. Favorite matte blush?
This above mentioned blush is one of my all time favorites and is really reasonably priced. It's a really nice everyday sort of color that is great for when my cheeks are breaking out because there are no shimmers to accentuate my flaws.

5. Favorite drugstore blush?
These two are my end game, go-to blushes when I can't figure out which out of my collection I want to use. They are both super inexpensive and give a really nice natural flush to the cheeks. The Maybelline Bouncy Blush in Pink Plum is a great cream to powder product that has a very subtle shimmer and looks really natural on the cheeks. I think it's particularly great for student because it's so easy to use, and it is very versitle. NYX Pinched is one of the most talked about dupes for the Nars Orgasm blush, and is a fraction of the price, another go to for students on a budget looking to get that sought after warm toned cheek.

6. Favorite High End?
Out of my high end blushes, these two are my babies. Laura Geller Bora Bora is a go to of mine, because of it's gorgeous look on the cheeks. It has really great pigmentation and is beautiful for warm and cold month's alike. Josie Maran Honeymoon Honey, is a great contour color for the colder months and enhancer for the warmer months. I really like how versatile the color is based on how you apply it. I'm a pretty big fan of both of these.

7. Favorite bright blush?
I mainly like my cheeks to have a natural flush to them, but on occasion I'll choose these brightening blushes to give me a more awake vibe. Ladykin Blush in Berry Sorbet is a really nice peachy pink that is matte and brightens up paler skin, so it's amazing during the school on days after I pull an all-nighter. Innisfree Eco Blush in Romantic Pink has a very similar brightening effect on my face and it a cool toned pink with finely milled silver shimmers.

8. Biggest blush disappointment?

While some swear by Nars highlighter's and blushes, this Hungry Heart Duo leaves much to be desired. It is basically the least pigmented highlighters, with the chunkiest glitters ever. I used it maybe twice since I've owned it. It basically went on the inner corner's of my eyes when I was going to my school's formals. Besides from that though, it's just been collecting dust.

9. Best blush packaging?
I adore the Skinfood Rose Essence Soft Cream Blusher packaging. It is so gorgeous and has such a romantic feeling to it. It is very feminine and compact. And don't even get me started on the rose scent, because I'll get stuck there forever. Basically this limited edition blush is seriously the prettiest blush packaging I own.

10. Blush wishlist?
I'm craving the Physicians Formula Argan Blush in Natural: $12.00 which is super pretty and has tons of gold shimmers with beautiful patterns and really nice pink tones.
Clinique Cheek Pop in Pink Pop: $24.00 I have heard so much about this blush and while I've purchased the lippies apart of this line, I have yet to try out the gorgeous blushes.
100% Pure Lip and Cheek Tint in Shimmery Strawberry: $24.00 I'm fascinated with cream blushed currently, so I wanted to try my hand a natural formula which is 100% Pure's claims with all of their products, and this color looks to die for.
Benefit Hervana: $28.00 This blush looks right up my alley. It's supposed to be a gorgeous mauve-y pink. I'd like this guy to be my first Benefit Box O' Blush.
Tarte Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride: $30.00 While extremely expensive, this looks like a really nice cheek stain and the color is really nice as well.

11. Holy grail blush?
My all time favorite of my blushes is the Laura Geller Blush in Bora Bora, which you have heard about pretty consistently throughout this post.

I hope that you enjoyed this tag! It was a lot of fun to participate in and even funner to share with you. As always leave any questions, comments, or requests in the down bar and I'll get to them ASAP. Love you all so much!

Why I Workout

Hello pretty people!
So I just finished a really good workout today that has left me feeling strong and empowered. I did some boxing with my brother and we finished it off with a 4 mile run, and I stretched it out with a yoga flow routine. Now sitting here, glistening on my yoga mat, I though about all the reasons why I started working out, as opposed to my reasons now.
When I first began seriously working out at the beginning of high school, my main reason was to lose weight. Like most teen girls, I was fixated on looking totally put together, a form of perfection, looking like a million dollars whenever I went anywhere. I counted my calories like a mad  woman and kept myself to a strict diet routine, often starving myself to meet the goals I had in my head. My reason for working out was to look better, not feel better. It was a chore; a task that I HAD to do to be deemed beautiful. I wanted to share what working out means for me now, and I hope it inspires you in some ways about how you view working out.

  • It makes me feel powerful: In our world, many things are out of our control. Our days don't always go as we would like them to and, if your at all like me, that can stress you out. But there is one part of my day that I always have control over, and that it when I work out. During a workout, I decide how much I want to put into something, I decide when it's quitting time, I decide when I should push myself harder. I get to really listen and understand my body completely.
  • It makes me feel beautiful: I'm no longer fixated on looking a certain way. You'll notice I said feel beautiful, not look. When I finish a really good workout, I feel like a million dollars. I don't have to wear pretty clothes or do my hair or wear makeup or smell the best. When I'm working out, I feel beautiful with all my imperfections showing through, with my hair frizzing out from all the sweat, with my ugly t-shirt soaked with sweat. It's a rare experience to be able to feel that good about yourself, even when you don't look the best.
  • It helps me through my day: By strengthening my body, I'm giving it more potential. You never know how amazing your body is, until you push it to that euphoric spot, where all you can think about is getting through that HIIT workout alive, and all the worries that you had been thinking about, fade away. When I run up and down the hills by my house, I like to think about all of my problem as the concrete I'm pounding myself into, and it puts everything into a new perspective.
  • It helps me forget about weight: I'm not gonna lie, I dealt with my weight for a really long time, and while I was the perfect size for my body type, I never felt good enough, which led me into some pretty deep self hatred. But I reached a point where I didn't care about the weight on the scale or the calories I ate, and instead focused on how I felt. I decided to be happy, even if that meant not living with the strictest diet and routine in the world.

Those are just a few of my favorite things about working out and what I've learned from it. I didn't want to make this post extremely long because honestly, there is seriously nothing poetic about why I workout. It all comes down to being happy for me, whether that means sticking to a really intense workout schedule, or having weeks where I only get in a few workouts. I don't think that exercise should take away from your life, but add to it. So I hope that this post maybe motivated you are inspired you to give working out a shot. But please realize, it might not feel amazing at first but after awhile of commitment, you will come to love it. I love you all so much and I'll talk to you next time!

Ipsy Glam Bag: July 2015

Hello Everyone!
Today I'm sharing the products that I received in my July Ipsy bag. The theme for this bag is Summer Lovin' so all the products have a nice summertime feel to it. This is my first experience with Ipsy and I am pretty impressed, so I think I'm gonna stick with them for a little while. I really don't go through products very quickly, so I think sample sized products are a must for me. While I'm bummed I didn't get the Tarte Amazonian Clay Bronzer, I'm still pretty happy with my bag.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the concept of monthly beauty subscription services, they basically provide 4-5 deluxe samples from a variety of different brands. The products you receive will differ depending on what you choose when taking the personality quiz, and you can re-take the quiz whenever you want to switch up what you'll get the next month.

1. Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Soapless Cleanser
Description: "Deep-penetrating, soap-free cleanser eliminates impurities and excess sebum without stripping the skin. With this triple action formula, including the patented active ingredient Glyceryl Laurate, sebum and oil production are inhibited and the bacteria responsible for blemishes is diminished, resulting in healthy, blemish-free skin"
Ingredients: avène thermal spring water, (avène aqua), water (aqua), sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, zinc coceth sulfate, polysorbate 20, sodium cocoamphoacetate, ceteareth-60 myristyl glycol, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, citric acid, disodium edta, fragrance (parfum), glyceryl laurate, green 5 (ci61570), sodium benzoate, sodium hydroxide, yellow 5 (ci19140), zinc gluconate

My Thoughts:
Avene is a pretty popular French skincare brand that is known for having products that are great for sensitive skin types. While I'm really content with my cleanser that I'm using right now because it is so incredibly gentle with my skin and is helping soothe my stressed out summer skin, I am curious about this product because of it's claims. I'm think about giving it a go once the school year starts back up when I really concentrate on taking care of the oil production of my skin. We'll see what happens with this little dude.

2. Teeez Cosmetics Read My Lips Lipstick in Killing Me Softly
Description: "This long-lasting lipstick combines the power of highly-pigmented coverage and a unique satin, matte finish. The lipstick’s smooth, ultra creamy texture and added coconut oil extract nourishes and hydrates the lips, with color that lasts for up to 8 hours."
Ingredients: coco-caprylate/caprate, octyldodecanol, isostearyl neopentanoate, candelilla cera (euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax), kaolin, cera microcristallina (microcrystalline wax), bisdiglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, ozokerite, methoxy peg-17/methoxy peg-11/hdi isocyanurate trimer crosspolymer, parfum (fragrance), lecithin, tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate, citric acid. may contain: ci 77891 (titanium dioxide), ci 15985 (yellow 6 lake), ci 77492 (iron oxides), ci 15850 (red 7 lake), ci 77491 (iron oxides

My Thoughts:
I have literally never heard of this brand before, but on the box it said it was from the Netherlands, if anyone is curious. While I'm not usually a huge fan of matte products, this is surprisingly moisturizing. The color is a rosy coral in my mind and I think it's really pretty on. I'm probably going to plop a nude gloss over top though to make it more wearable for an everyday look since I'm very picky about how bright my lips should be. It feels pretty comfortable on as well, which was very surprising.

3. Crown Brush Professional Tweezers
Description: "The stainless steel Professional Tweezers come complete with tips that are perfectly aligned, hand-filed at a 45 degree angle with carefully calculated tension".
My Thoughts:
I feel like the subscription boxes I've received recently are trying to tell me something. Both have given me tweezers.... hmmmm. I'm actually not too bummed about getting another pair of tweezers. For one thing the tweezers in the Beauty Box 5 are extremely small and would be great for carrying around with me, and this Crown Brush one can just chill on my shelf. I'm obviously going to be using these, so we'll see how well it preforms.

4. Ofra Bliss Eyeshadow in Bliss
Description: "Bliss is a gorgeous shimmery powder that can be used as an eye shadow or as a highlighting powder on your cheek bones, brow bones or on the bridge of your nose. Bliss can easily fit in any type of magnetic makeup palette and can also be used in loose form"
Ingredients: mica, zinc stearate, starch octenylsuccinate, dimethicone, silica, nylon 12, magnesium silicate, trimethysiloxysilicate, ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer, phenoxyethanol (and) ethylhexyglycerin. may contain: titanium dioxide, iron oxides, bismuth oxychloride, manganese violet, ultramarines, chromium oxide green

My Thoughts:
I love a good shimmery highlight color. This one by Ofra is such a great color for my currently tanned skin tone, and I think it would look so pretty with M.A.C's Woodwinked. It's a gorgeous golden champagne tone with crazy pretty shimmers. I think I'm going to get some good wear out of this product. Unfortunately I don't have a magnetic palette, so this poor guy is going to have to chill in it's plastic case for awhile.

5. Coolway Beachy Salt Spray
Description: "Perfect for creating beachy waves and natural styles with a non-sticky, matte finished look. Formulated with Dead Sea salts for additional mineral nourishment.
  • Texturizes and separates hair for a natural, fresh-from-the-beach look.
  • Weightless formula for bouncy, flexible, wavy hair.
  • Mineral-rich formula consisting of Dead Sea Salt for soothing and strengthening of the scalp and hair."
Ingredients: dead sea salts, magnesium sulfate, gluconolactone, polysorbate-80, sodium benzoate

My Thoughts:
I'm always up for a new beach waves spray. I have tried so many so I'm looking forward to seeing this ones performance with my hair. I've known about the brand for quite awhile, but I hadn't tried it yet, so this is a great step in the right direction for me, and I love how short the ingredients list is.

July Glam Bag Overall Score:
4/5
This is a very good quality subscription service and I definitely want to stick around for longer. I really like how everyone gets a unique selection of products and that there are such good sizes. The products I'm most happy about would have to be the eye shadow and the beach spray. Did you get an Ipsy bag this month? Tell me about the products you received in yours in the comments below! See you all next time, love you all so much,
Grace

5 Things: End of The Week Favorites #5

Hello Everyone!
I know I didn't post as much this week, but as I explained in my previous post (click here to view) I spent the week catching up with family and friends. It was a really great week overall, but it was slightly uneventful beauty wise, although I did find some lost treasures in my room up in Cleveland, so that is a bonus. Hopefully next week there will be a few new items seeings how I should have my Ipsy bag by then. But without further delay, let's hop into this weeks favorites!

First off is my absolute favorite frizz cream that I found in my bedroom. I forgot how much I completely adored this product until I didn't have it. It's a semi thick cream that goes through hair really smoothly and is a complete life saver during the summer months since it makes the hair super smooth even with a lot of humidity, and since Ohio has been getting a very wet summer, this product is perfect. Last night I was outside and swimming and it was humid, but my hair remained pretty in tact because I had used this earlier in the day. I highly recommend this to anyone battling the summer frizzies.

This is such a hydrating lip balm! Innisfree Melting Lip Balm in Jeju Ocean is like putting butter on your lips. It makes them silky soft and I love to use it underneath the next product I'm going to talk about because it's such a good combination. It doesn't feel too heavy on my lips and has a really nice subtle coral tint which is great for everyday makeup looks that I've been sporting lately.

Last beauty favorite is the MAC Cremesheen lipstick in Coral Bliss, which I've had for quite awhile and it had just been collecting dust, but I was determined to use it this month because if I'm gonna spend $16 on a lipstick, I had better use it up real quick. Coral Bliss is a gorgeous pink toned coral that works really nicely with my skin tone and is a very subtle way that I can incorporate coral shades into my routine, because I'm not nearly bold enough to wear a crazy bright color. It is very moisturizing and feels really nice on the lips, not to heavy either. I think it's a really nice summer coral for everyday wear and looks even better over the melting balm.

I have a song favorite for this week and it is none other than Stay Away by Charlie XCX. This song is very bass driven and has a really good beat throughout. The main reason why I like this song so much is the lyricism that it has. It definitely is more techno-ish so if your not into EDM that much, then it might not be your cup of tea, but I recommend giving it a listen.

Lastly is a book favorite. One of the funniest series I've read is the My Fair Godmother series by Janette Rallison and the series recently got a new addition: My Fairly Dangerous Godmother. These stories throw together some classic fairy tales with modern protagonists with hilarious results. While they sound kinda juvenile, they are some freaking amazing books. If your looking for a lighter read that doesn't take it's self too seriously, you'll love this series.

That wraps up this week! I hope you had a good week and that next week will go smoothly for you. Tell me in the comments what some of your favorites were this week as well as any questions or suggestions and I will see you all next time. Love ya'll so much!

My Favorite Yoga/Stretching Videos

Hello Everyone!
So in the world there are literally millions of video on YouTube for really stretching out your body, increasing flexibility, and overall toning with the use of yoga. But there are some that definitely aren't as good as others and it's taken me a long time to find ones that really work well for me. I like being able to have a "free flow", which really is just a fancy term for listening to your bodies needs and doing what feels good in a practice, so a lot of the videos that I like have a really relaxed approach. And since I didn't have anything else prepared for this week, I figured I could share some of my all time favorite yoga routines with you, and tell you a little bit about each one. These aren't ranked in any particular order either.

1. Yoga With Adriene Detox Yoga
This is one of my favorite practices because it's very calming and really helps with digestion and detoxifying your body, so it helps to get rid of toxins that are stored up in your liver, by cleansing it out with opening twists.

2. Plumtv Lengthening and Opening Yoga
This routine is extremely nice after an intense cardio session. It lengthens the muscles and helps give your body a leaner look with twists and opening every part of your side body in a really nice relaxing and restorative way.

3. Tone it Up Stretch and Release
I love this routine when I want to stretch out and relax, but I'm in a time crunch. It really relaxes you and makes you feel a lot more open in a few short minutes. For busy days, or when I'm too tired to commit to a full practice, this is my go to.

4. Yoga with a View Hilaria Baldwin- Deep Stretch
This is really great for anyone who is sore. When I feel like I can barely move my legs or whatever body part I just worked like crazy, I like to do this routine to make it more bearable. It is also very calming and releases a lot of tension that is often carried in your joints.

Sorry that I haven't posted too much this week, but my computer that I used to blog with broke and my family only just now got a new one, plus I was visiting family in Cleveland for a few days which was really nice to reconnect and chill with everyone, plus get in a little shopping (hello MAC Woodwinked and Clinique Color Pop Lipstick) done while I was at it. I hope that this post gives you a little inspiration to try out some yoga routines that really have helped me stay calm and keeps me from being too sore throughout the weeks workout sessions. As always I hope you enjoyed this post, comment down below and thoughts and comment, or even requests and I'll get to them ASAP. See you all next time!

5 Things: End Of The Week Favorites #4

Hello Everyone!
I love doing these posts! I seriously think about it all week long until I can finally share everything I've been liking throughout the week. This past week, I've been trying to really focus on my skincare routine. With summer in it's full swing, I've been wearing less makeup and trying to embrace an Au natural look lately, with beachy waves and usually only a touch of concealer and lip balm. Why the sudden switch? Well, I've decided I should start embracing my natural look more. It's a process that I'm starting of feeling more comfortable sans makeup. Because why stress and worry about makeup, when you're already gorgeous without it? Anyway, Let's jump into the favorite of this week!

First things first (I'm the realest), is the Boots Botanics Shine Away Mattifying Toner. Last time I was at Target I had to pick up a new toner, and I saw this product out of the corner of my eye. I was instantly curious because you have to shake it up to get the mattifying properties from the bottom to mix with the Willow Bark extract, and it looks super cool. After using this for about two weeks now, I can firmly say that I love this toner. It really helps to keep my skin oil free and also clarifies it. It claims to refresh and re balance skin to visibly tighten pores. Also the Willow Bark extract is a natural form of salicylic acid which helps to refine the skin's texture and actively target imperfections. This is a perfect product for anyone who has acne prone oily/combination skin like I do.

I definitely have an addiction to blue nail polishes. I don't know what it is, but whenever I want to paint my fingers or toes, I always gravitate towards the blue shades. And Essie makes a darn good nail polish formula. This week, I've been loving the shade Find Me An Oasis which is described as a refreshing ice blue that is everything you need to quench your thirst for paradise. I love this nil polish because it looks super good with my tanned skin. It makes me feel even darker, and is extremely complimentary to my complexion at the moment. One thing though, is you have to be very careful when applying because pale shades like this one will show any and all mistakes.

Last beauty favorite is something that I've had for quite awhile, but have just recently taken a deeper liking to. I reckon that I've had this for a couple years now at least. This is one of Amazon.com's best selling masks, and has some pretty good reviews to go with it. I like to use this mask twice a week, because it really helps to clear up my skin and improves the look of it drastically. I like to mix equal amounts of Indian Healing Clay with vinegar, and leave the mixture on for 10 mins. It also really softens my skin and refreshed my pores after long hot summer days.

These shoes are my babies. I absolutely love them, and so do my feet. These are the Mizuno Wave Hitogami Running Shoes. They are extremely supportive of my arches and are really nice and lightweight, so I can pick up my feet a lot easier when I'm running.  I was a little skeptical at first of the color choice, but now that I have them in person, I'm obsessed. Who needs a boyfriend, when you can get new running shoes?

My last favorite of the week is ABC Family's The Fosters. This show is an addiction. I've watched the entire first season in a matter of days, and I'm well on my way towards the 3rd season. Is anyone else slightly tortured whenever Callie and Brandon date other people? I seriously cannot be the only one who still wants them to be together in the end. Maybe once she turns 18 or something. Finger's crossed that the writers have them end up together. Anyway, this show touches on all the feels and is grittier version of Modern Family in a way, and is very, very addictive.

Bonus Favorite:

That's it for this week! I hope you all enjoyed this post and be sure to comment down below what your favorite things were this week. I love you all so much!

My Favorite My Lips But Better Lipsticks

Hello Everyone!
So as you can tell from the title, today I'm sharing with you my favorite MLBB lipsticks. These are some of the shades that I always revert back to, because they are always a wearable option. While they vary in finishes and texture, they overall have the same tone, which is a pink-y brownish feel.

1. L'Oreal Julianne's Nude

Description
A delicate and elegant barely there peach shade that enhances the radiance of pale pink based tones.

So while I'm not as pale as I usually am, thanks to my intense intake of Vitamin D lately, this color is still really complimentary to my skin tone. It's a lot softer of a shade that any of the other MLBB shades, so I really like this one if I'm going for a really intense eye look, and I want just a smidgen of color on my lips.

2. Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Petal

Description
Neutral to cool toned light pink with gold shimmers

This shade was my go to back when I started High School. It really  compliments my skin tone and adds a nice summertime feel to my skin tone with it's gorgeous multidimensional shimmers. It's extremely wearable and has a really nice and moisturizing texture.

3. Memebox I'm Lipstick in Pink Beige Nude

Description
A bestselling brown toned pink everyday color

We are finally getting into the very cool toned and shimmer less almost orange-y MLBB. Pink Beige is a go to of mine in the spring because it really looks nice when I'm at my palest. It really gives off a polished and professional, and brings out the green tones in my hazel eyes.

4. ColourPop Lippie Stix in Frida

Description
A warm mid tone nude pink with a satin finish, "for the women who drinks a substantial amount of coffee"- Coffee Break With Dani

This colour is a newcomer to my collection, but that doesn't mean it hasn't worked it's way into my heart. It looks amazing with my skin tone and once again, makes the green in my eyes stand out like crazy. This little dude is very versatile and I really like to wear him with a lip balm underneath for a more natural glossy look, and by itself for a more glamorous look.

While this post is shorter than usual, I hope you all enjoy it just as much as my other posts. I think I did a post somewhat like this, back in the early days of my blog, and I'm sure if you search around back in the 2013 area, you'd probably find it. But since my style has changed since then, I wanted to do a revamp. If you have any questions or comments, leave them for me in the comment section and I'll get back to you ASAP. Love y'all so much!

What's in My Travel Beauty Bag

Hello Everyone!
Sorry for the lack of posts last week. During the summer we have a group of teens do an outreach for a week in inner city Cleveland. That went from Sunday till Thursday. Friday I spent time with my sister, and didn't even get a chance to touch my camera till late that night, and Saturday I spent the day working out, running to get groceries, swinging from bales of hay, riding fair rides, eating fried foods and watching fireworks light up an empty field. But today I'm here to show you the makeup items I take with me when I travel. There are a few staple products, and a handful of products that interchange depending on what I will be doing on my trip, however the overall products remain the same.

~Face~

Generally, I'll bring my regular foundation routine with me on every trip. I like to take compact products and and try to steer clear of any loose packaging to avoid powder spills. My favorite base, no matter where I am is the Dr. Young Anti Pore Balm, because it really smooths the surface of my skin, prepping it for my other base products. I take my regular foundation, which right now is the Maybelline Better Skin Foundation, because it leaves a very natural finish on my skin and never feels heavy on my skin, which is perfect for the long days that come with travelling. I like to pair that foundation with the Maybelline Master Concealer for my horrid dark circles, and set everything with the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder. I swear by Physicians Formula, and I always take the Bronze Booster with my for a touch of summer glow everywhere I go. For Blush, I've been liking to take the Pur Minerals Hot Rocks with me everywhere I go because it gives a very natural flush that works with every makeup look I go for.

~Eyes~

The eyes are generally the area that interchanges the most. Depending on where I'm going that week or what I'm going to be doing I'll take different products. But on my last trip, these are the items I stored away in my bag. I like to take the Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer with me everywhere I go. It has never failed me and keeps my oily eyelids from creasing during these hot summer months. My eyebrow routine has been the exact same thing ever since I bought the Etude House Perfect Brow Kit. It literally is perfect for me and gives me the most natural look since it's a powder product. Eyeshadows always change up, but lately I've really like the Covergirl Sheerly Nudes palette which has really nice muted brown and pink colors that are super easy to work with. My go to tightline eyeliner of the moment is the Memebox I'm Eyeliner in Black. It's extremely waterproof and stays put all day. I like to pair my looks with liquid liner, and I've really been liking the thin line I get with the Skinfood Sweet Almond Eyeliner in Black. Mascara's come and go for my travelling, but since the Physician's Formula Organic Wear BB Mascara is my newest obsession, I've been liking to take it with me, although not a good waterproof formula, it gives me tons of length and definition.

~Lips~

No matter where I'm going, one thing stays the same. I always have at least two or three EOS Lip Balms with me at all times. They do a great job of moisturizing my lips and providing some SPF to keep me from getting sun burnt lips, which is such an uncomfortable feeling. The colors change up a lot, but something I've really been liking is the MAC Coral Bliss Cremesheen, which gives a super subtle hint of coral to your lips. I really like having a natural vibe to my lips with some gloss for a hydrated and healthy look, which is what I get when I pair these two babies together.

That's what I like to take with me! I have yet to find a makeup bag big enough for me, so I've been toting things around in a plastic baggy. Not the classiest thing in the world, but it serves it's purpose nicely enough. I hope that you enjoyed going through my travel makeup bag! Be sure to comment any thoughts or questions and I'll get back to you ASAP. I love you all so much!
