Tarte Golden Days & Sultry Nights Amazonian Clay Collector's Shadow Palette Review

Hi Everyone!
While normally I lean more towards drugstore or more inexpensive products, from time to time, I dabble with some high end. Especially if I can get a discount (thank you Hautelook!). I will not lie, the main draw for me, was the AMAZING packaging. It is so bright and cheerful, and was the perfect "pick-me-up" palette, allowing me to fully embrace the warmer months ahead. This is my first Tarte product and I have to say that I'm impressed. I've tried varying high end brands from Stila to Urban Decay and Too Faced, but I've never splurged on any Tarte. I am definitely going to keep my eye out on this brand more often now!

This palette comes with two matte shadows and three shimmers as well as a mirror protector and a how-to card with for daytime and nighttime looks.

Colors:

Toes in the Sand: A matte cream
Espadrilles: A matte taupe brown
Caipirinha and Cocktails: A chunky gold glitter
Oceanview: A teal with silver micro shimmers
Tropical Sunset: A warm shimmery brown.

Swatches:

The shadows have good pigmentation, they are slightly on the chalky side, but they do wear very well on the eyes. The only shadow that isn't exactly ideal, is Caipirinha and Cocktails and while the color is gorgeous, it comes with a ton of fallout.

Daytime Look: (Golden Days)

Nighttime Look: (Sultry Nights)

Overall, I enjoy this palette and will most likely try out more Tarte products from now on. I hope you all enjoyed this little review, be sure to share your thoughts in the comments down below and I will see you next time! Love you all so much, Muah!

Red Velvet 'Ice Cream Cake' Makeup Tutorial ~ 레드벨벳 '아이스크림 케이크' 메이크업 자습서

Hello Everyone!
When I first saw the teasers for this mv, I instantly noticed how fresh faced and natural these girls looked. Their skin is a nice natural texture and the peachy tones are perfect for spring. Speaking of which, happy first day of spring! Anyway, I couldn't pick just one member, because their looks are extremely similar, so without further ado, let's get started!

~Face~

1. Prime
First step is to smooth out the skin with a pore primer. This will lay out a smooth canvas to help the makeup to apply better to the skin.

2. Conceal
Take an orange toned concealer and apply it to any dark circles. This will help to counteract the purple tones of under eye circles.

3. Base
Taking a matte BB cream with brightening properties and dot across face. Blend everything in with a damp beauty sponge.

4. Set
To set everything, I'm taking an oil controlling translucent powder and applying it to the t-zone area, where I tend to get the oiliest.

5. Blush
For the blush, I'm taking a matte peachy pink shade and applying it like a contour shade into the hollows of my cheeks.

~Eyes~

1. Base
For the eyes, I'm applying a light gold shadow stick to my eyelids up to the crease and blend it out with my ring finger.

2. Point
With an angled brush, I'm taking a red eyeshadow and applying it to my lash line, mainly focusing the color on the outer corners.

3. Line
Taking a long lasting eyeliner and apply it to your upper lash root. This will help to subtly define the eyes and enhance the eyelashes.

4. Mascara
Apply an even coat of mascara to the top and bottom lashes to define the eyes.

~Lips~

1. Color
Taking a fleshy melon color, I'm applying it to the center portions of my lips.

2. Tint
Lastly to create gradient petal lips, I'm taking a lighter coral tint and apply it over top of the previously applied color.

~Finished Look~

I hope that you all enjoyed this tutorial! Be sure to comment down below any requests, questions, or comments and I'll get back to them ASAP. I love you all so much, Muah

Etude House Color in Liquid Lips Review~ 에뛰드 하우스 컬러 인 리퀴드 립스 검토

Hello!
Today I have a quick overview of Etude House's newest lip line. While browsing Etude House's online global website, I went over to the event category and saw that for a limited amount of time, that for each Color in Liquid Lips product you purchased, you'd also receive a cherry lip gel patch. I still haven't used them yet, but as soon as I do, I'll write a review for them. But today, I wanted to quickly go over these new lippies.

What it is~
A melted liquefied lipstick with the intense color and high shine to make provocative yet lovely sheer lips. The cushiony water-sliding texture makes lips look supple and hydrated. (from Etudehouse.com)

What it does~
- Lovely splashing color: Vivid colors like melted liquefied lipsticks make delicate and supple lips.
(Exclusive "One-Touch-Color" technology is applied to express vivid color with one touch)
- See-though glossy lips: Smooth water-sliding texture cares lips lightweight, glossy, and non sticky.
(Water-Sliding: Light and non-sticky texture for cushiony and sleek application)
- Long-lasting hydrated lips: It contains Sweet almond oil and sunflower seed oil to coat lips comfortably and smoothly long time without getting dry. (from Etudehouse.com)

Packaging~
Like all Etude packaging, it has a cute exterior packaging in various shades based on the colors selected. Of course the shade is on the top as well as the sides. The containers themselves are sleek and white with little lip and heart details. I think overall that the concept for this is youthful and cute.

Ingredients~
(For BE102):Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil Mica (CI 77019) Diisostearyl Malate Dicalcium Phosphate Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) Silica Silylate Stearalkonium Hectorite VP/Hexadecene Copolymer Tridecyl Trimellitate Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate Propylene Carbonate Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Diglyceryl Sebacate/Isopalmitate Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate Sorbitan Isostearate Phytosteryl/Isostearyl/Cetyl/Stearyl/Behenyl Dimer Dilinoleate Silica Kaolin Polyglyceryl-2 Diisostearate Methicone Tocopheryl Acetate Dehydroacetic Acid Fragrance(Parfum) Iron Oxides (CI 77491) Red 7 (CI 15850:1) Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985) Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090)

(For PK002): Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil Mica (CI 77019) Dicalcium Phosphate Silica Silylate Diisostearyl Malate Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate Stearalkonium Hectorite VP/Hexadecene Copolymer Tridecyl Trimellitate Red 28 Lake (CI 45410) Propylene Carbonate Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Diglyceryl Sebacate/Isopalmitate Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate Sorbitan Isostearate Phytosteryl/Isostearyl/Cetyl/Stearyl/Behenyl Dimer Dilinoleate Silica Kaolin Polyglyceryl-2 Diisostearate Methicone Tocopheryl Acetate Dehydroacetic Acid Fragrance(Parfum) Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140) Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985) Red 6 (CI 15850)

Good Ingredients~

Sweet Almond Oil: Almond oil has many essential vitamins and minerals including vitamins E and D as well as potassium, calcium, and magnesium. It is ideal for moisturizing because it is effectively absorbed into skin without too much residue.

Sunflower Seed Oil: Sunflower oil is rich in vitamins A, C,D, and E. Vitamins A-D act as a protective barrier for your skin and helps to regenerate the skin. Vitamin E helps to protect against sun damage by blocking out UVA/UVB rays.

Scent~
This product has a very strong cherry scent that reminds me of the children's chewable tylenol that my mom used to give me. While it is a strong scent, it's not unpleasant.

Color Description~

PK002: A bright neon pink that is on the neutral side; not too cool, not too warm.
BE102: A muted mauve that is cooler toned.

My Thoughts~
Overall, I think that these are a very good product for those of us who enjoy glossy lips. I think that the colors are great for spring, seeings how they are so bright. I really enjoy glossy lips so this was a must have for me. One thing I will say though, is that the colors are brighter than they appear online, which is to be expected since generating a color using computer graphics can be difficult. I recommend this product for anyone who likes glossy lips since this is a lipstick and lipgloss tied into one tube.

   ~Pros~
Highly Pigmented
Glossy
Vitamin Enriched
Smooth Application
Good Color Selection

~Cons~
Colors are Different From Description
Overall Rating: 4/5
While these are amazing products, I wish that they had a slightly better staying power and that the shades were true to their online depiction.

Where to purchase~

W2Beauty: http://w2beauty.com/en/etude-house-lips/16616-etude-house-color-in-liquid-lips-18-coors.html Cost: 13.50 USD Registration 5% Coupon Code: 31619412

I hope you all enjoyed this review! I haven't had them for too long, but I plan on trying out more shades from this line in the future. Have you used this product yet? What color did you purchase? Tell me in the comments below! As always, I love you all so much and I will see you next time, Muah!

Shopping My Collection: March

Hi Everyone!
So it has become apparently obvious to me that I have a ton of makeup. There are products that I've only used occasionally and some not at all. There are tons of lip gloss that are just sitting there expiring, blush that remain hardly touched, and eyeliner that have never needed sharpening. In light of this, I had a stroke of genius idea.
I went through my makeup collection and made a list of the products I have barely (or have never) used. Each month I'm going to use these products and give my verdict. Will I keep it? Give it away to a friend? or throw it away? The giveaway part makes a couple of my friends really happy ;) I wanted to share this experience with you and talk to you about the products. Also I plan on using them in a GRWM video on my channel in the middle of the month. I want to keep you all updated too, so in my monthly favorites, I plan on doing a little segment on the ones I liked and which ones I dislike. My goal is that when I get rid of a certain product, let's say eyeliner, then I can purchase a new eyeliner. I believe that this will help me to control my spending a bit, and help with budgeting.
Without any further ado, Let's take a look at this months stash!

1. Too Cool For School Dinoplatz CC Cream
While this is a sample size of this product, its still been sitting untouched since I received it in Memebox a couple months back. This product is supposed to give really long lasting moisture to the skin with the help of Alaskan mineral water and rich mineral extract to give skin a balanced silky look. I've curious about this CC cream, because I'm really touch and go, when it comes to brightening products since they can leave me looking gray and ashy :/ I figure I should use it now, because I' going to start tanning soon.

2. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Plum
I remember buying this blush and thinking I was going to use it every day. The color is a gorgeous natural flush with a slight  silver micro shimmer. Also the thought behind it is quite unique as well. It's cream to powder finish gives the cheeks a light wash of color. I just have put this on the back burner for awhile, and this month, I'm going to decide whether or not I actually going to use this product and if I still like the texture.

3. Grace My Face Minerals Glamour My Eyes Mineral Eyeshadow in Cappuccino, Soft Brown, and Mink
These three beautiful browns came in a kit of four originally, but I threw out the other eyeshadow because I had never used nor needed a shimmery pink eyeshadow in my life. The browns are very pigmented and can be worn dry or wet. Cappuccino is a warm milky brown with gold toned shimmers; Soft Brown is a slight rosy brown with no shimmer; Mink is a dark chocolate brown with no shimmer. This is almost a last ditch effort for these eyeshadows. I just feel like I have so many brown eyeshadows if I don't use them, they are kind of just taking up space.

4. Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude
Remember when nude eyeliner on your waterline was uber popular last year? Yeah, me too. And I also remember how happy I was when I found the very last one of these eyeliners in a bin at Walgreens. Was it an impulse? Probably. I can count on one hand how many times I've used this eyeliner and this is the month where I decide if it's worth the hype.

5. Stila Smudge Crayon in Smoke
This is actually an amazing product, that I got an amazing deal on (thank you Hautelook). It's almost an green toned taupe brown with silver sheen. It glides on really nicely and has great pigmentation. The reason it's even in this post, is because it hasn't been used a lot and I'm determined to change that this month.

6. L'Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner
I'm slightly confused about why I bought this. I think it had something to do with having more control then liquid eyeliner and the intensely matte finish. It cost a pretty penny though (for drugstore) so I want to give it a final verdict before sealing the official dumping deal.

7. Maybelline The Rocket Volum Express Waterproof Mascara in Brownish Black
This was the "IT" mascara last year and I went to my nearest Target to follow suit with everyone else. It's a really great product that I want to touch base with again after forsaking it for my beloved  Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara. My choice in color is interesting though, but I think it'll give me a really soft and sultry look.

8. NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors Lipstick in Blush
I've had this baby for quite some time now and it's just been sitting amongst my other lippies collecting dust. The color is a beautiful cool toned rosey pink with no shimmer and a creamy finish. I thought it'd be perfect to try out for the early spring season before I break out the actual spring lippies.

That's what I have this month! I'm excited to try this out and see how I feel about these product when April hits. I really hope that you all enjoy this idea of mine and maybe try it out yourself? It definitely helps me to think critically about the products I have and whether I actually want or use them at all. I love you all so much and I will see you next week, Muah!

The Face Shop Rice Water Brightening Cleansing Light Oil Review ~ 더페이스샵 미감수 브라이트 클렌징 석유 검토

Hi Everyone!
So sorry that I've been MIA for the past week. My life has been a string of competitions, rehearsals, events, school, and very little sleep. I've literally been running off of coffee. But, I'm am here today to give you a review!

Over the years, I have hear a lot about this cleansing oil. I've never really been interested in it, until this winter. The weather were I live is seriously doing a number on my skin. With the cold wind whipping my face, my skin has been uber dry and flaky leading to discoloration and breakouts. Since earlier in January I had run out of my previous cleansing oil, I decided to give this one a go. BEST DECISION EVER!

Claims: The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Rice Cleansing Water is an oil free refreshing cleansing water to remove makeup. It is a moisturizing and brightening cleansing water with rice water and Moringa oil. Moringa oil known as 'purifying tree' in India has very strong detoxifying quality. People used to put grinded Moringa plant in the polluted river water to detoxify. Its texture and bamboo extract makes it especially great for oily skin. No preservative.

Packaging: Nothing is particularly too fancy or stands out to me about the packaging. It is a pump product and dispenses nicely. The color scheme is a nice light peachy pink with white, red, and black accents. Everything, including the ingredient list, is in Korean.

Ingredients:
Isopropyl Myristate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Polyglyceryl-10 Diisostearate, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil,  Simmondsia Chinensis(Jojoba) Seed Oil, Water, Glycerin,  Butylene Glycol, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract (15mg), Saponaria Officinalis Leaf Extract, Fragrance, Butylphenyl Methylpropional,  Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool.

My Thoughts:   This cleansing oil is everything my skin has been needing. Not only does it thoroughly remove even the most stubborn of my waterproof mascaras, but it doesn't make my skin feel too dry, or too oily. This version of cleansing oil is specifically made for those of us with oily skin. While my skin is combination, this cleansing oil works great for me.

(Top to Bottom: Pixi Mesmerizing Eye Shadow, Innisfree Eco Flower Tint, Mamonde Super Longer Wear Eyeliner, Etude House All Shockcara Mascara)

As you can see, It removed everything really well, except for a little bit of the lip tint. It doesn't leave a heavy residue on the skin and makes it very soft and brightens the look.

Scent: It doesn't have a very strong scent, and is light and floral.

Pros:
Removes makeup thoroughly
Light texture
No residue
Moisturizes
Brightens
Perfect for Combination/Oily Skin

Cons:
None

Overall: 5/5

I highly recommend this cleansing oil and am highly considering repurchasing it. The only downside is that I only use brightening products in the winter, but hey, maybe I'll use this next year too :) I really hope you all enjoyed this! I love you all so much and I will hopefully right another post this Friday *fingers crossed* Have an amazing and wonderful day! Love you so much, Muah!
