Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes Bohemian Soul Review

Hi!
Gosh, it seems like it's been SO long since I've posted anything and honestly, the only excuse was that my camera was giving me the hardest time in the entire world. Seriously, I couldn't figure it for the longest time. Some how though, I've figured out a trick. It's super complicated and hard to explain, so I don't even think I know how I did. But here I am, able to upload MY own pictures and it is wonderful! Without further ado, I'm gonna talk to you about my first Etude House eye shadow experience. (Honestly, I forgot all about this palette..... oops :) )

So I saw this back in October and what really stood out to me was that big ol' limited edition stamp on it, and the color schemes. I chose Bohemian Soul, because I'd actually wear the colors provided. I have this horrid habit of buying makeup in colors that I would never wear anywhere or with anything. I decided to go with the safer of the two available palettes. // typical Grace move//

Anyhow, first off, I've never tried any eye shadows from Etude aside from this, so I wasn't really sure what to expect from this, but I decided that this was the perfect excuse for me try em' out.
This palette gives you six warm toned corals with 1 pearl finish, 1 cream product, 1 shimmery, and 3 uber glittery shadows. It also comes with a disposable sponge that, surprisingly, is one of the better of application methods. I find that the shadows have a powdery texture (except for the cream one, obvi which f.y.i. smells like roses) and take quite a few swipes to build up.
Shade Descriptions:

Folk Song: A mocha brown base color with a pearl cast and finely milled gold shimmers
Apricot Jam: A bright peach color to give eyes and cheeks a fresh look with a soft cream formula
Ethnic Coral: A pink rose with small gold and coral glitters
Gypsy Queen: A cream colored glitter with purple and gold accents
Wanderlust: A copper with small gold glitters finely milled in
Freedom: A warm chocolate brown with gold flecks sprinkled throughout

The texture of the shadows are nice, but the problem is they don't last very long on their own and lack pigmentation. It'd probably be best to use a primer with these, especially the glitter ones, since they have the most fall out.
Back to that whole application process thing I mentioned earlier, You legit cannot apply this with a dry brush! You will get the smallest amount of color on your lids and would take you forever to build up. You can either use your fingers, or the sponge they provide you with. If you REALLY want to use a brush, you could take a firm one and wet it before use.

Pros:
Nice colors
Smells like roses ;)
Well packaged

Cons:
Lots of glitter fallout
Bad pigmentation
Hard to apply
Limited Edition

Overall Rating: (DRUM ROLL PLEASE)
3.5/5

That's it for today guys! I'm so happy that I figured out my camera and can give you the posts I want to with fun pictures and everything! I love you all so much and I'm so blessed and thankful for you all! Seriously, this is one of my most favorite things to do and I love sharing it with you all. I love you people so much, Muah!

Top 5 Skincare Rules of Winter

Hi All!
With winter upon us, the cold weather is everywhere. Often times, our skin becomes really high maintenance once it gets colder. For those of my reader in warmer climates, this may or may not apply to you, but the tips are still valid no matter what the temperature outside. These are just some of the tips I have that really help to keep my skin in top condition throughout the winter months.
Living in the Northeast means that we have very cold, wet winters. Whether its rain, snow, sleet, or wind, our skin is exposed to tons of harsh elements. With all this going on, our skin can freak out on us. Dry, flakey skin is never cute, and here are my top tips for keeping my skin for getting too dry, flake free, and protected.

1. Moisturize:
Now this might be obvious for some of you, but for those who don't, with the weather getting so cold and all the wind, our skin can get chapped and dry. This means we need to add more moisture to it. What I like to do, is use a moisturizing serum after washing my face, along with my regular cream. This help the skins nighttime recovery, and you'll wake up with supple skin in the morning. I really like the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum and any of the Nature Republic Original Power Serums.

2. SPF:
A lot of people think that sun protection is just for the summertime. Well, they'd be wrong. In the winter time it snows and the sun reflects off of it in a process called Albedo. Basically that's a fancy word that means that a surface has a certain reflecting power. Snow is really high up there with fresh snow being 85% old snow being 60% because the sun reflects off of white. That's higher than sand! It's very important to use SPF all year long, but in the winter you should use at least SPF 30 to help with the UV Rays. I recommend the Innisfree Eco Safety Daily Sunblock, because it's one of my favorite sun creams, and it does a good job in the winter time.

3. Exfoliate:
With our skin getting drier and flakier, it's important to exfoliate your skin. Not only will it help remove the dead skin cells and reveal baby soft skin underneath, but it also will help you makeup apply smoother. If you have really sensitive skin, there are always peeling gels if your skin can't take grittier textures. For peeling masks try the Face Shop Smart Peeling Mild Papaya Peeling or the Etude House Magic Bubble Creamy Peeling Wash. For a D.I.Y. Scrub a simple recipe is:
Ingredients:
3 TBSP (tablespoon) Sugar           1 TBSP Honey
2 TBSP Olive Oil
Directions:
Mix everything together and store in an airtight container. It lasts for about 3-4 weeks. I like to keep this in the shower and use it then for best results.

4. Treat:
Another tip for getting rid of flakes and dry patches, is to use a clay mask 2-3 times a week (depending on your skin type). Clay masks help to get rid of toxins and attaches to dry skin. That means when you wash it off, the amazing minerals it has help to give your skin a flake free glow.  I recommend the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask because not only does it do these things, but it helps to clear the pores and eliminate acne and scarring.

5. Use Lukewarm Water:
People like to use hot water to rinse off their faces in the winter time because it's warmer and nice. But using hot really dries out your skin. It's much better to use lukewarm water. It'll still remove cleanser residues, and it'll also keep you from having overly dry skin. It also helps to splash your face a couple of times with cold water, to really wake up the blood cells and help them to circulate the face better, leaving your skin glowing.

So those are my top 5 rules for winter skin care. I hope it helped you get a better feel for steps to keep your skin healthy, happy, and glowing. If you have any tips, leave it in the comments! I love you all so much, Muah!

Mizon Oh! Shy Gorgeous On Liquid Cheek Review + 10K VIEWS!!!

Hi Everyone!
So not only am I here with a review today, I'm also here to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I think back to when I started this blog and I had no clue what I was doing. All I knew was that I wanted to share my passion for Korean makeup, skincare, and groups with someone. You guys inspire me to keep on doing this, and for that I am so grateful. 10K is a big number for me and I wouldn't be here without YOU! Thank you for supporting my addiction.
Mizon is a brand that I have used before, but only for skincare. I didn't even know that they made makeup until I received my Memebox #75 and this product was featured.
Product Description:
This light reflecting multifunctional blush and lip liquid glides on to refresh and enhance the complexion, creating a glowing radiance. Wear it alone, or mix it with your favorite foundation BB Cream or CC Cream to transform your skin from ordinary to extraordinary. Plus, the peachy coral shade is universally flattering for all skin tones. There's no way it can go wrong!

Swatch:
My Thoughts:

Packaging-
Overall I like the packaging. I think the weight of it is really nice and the lid screws on nice and tightly, so you don't have to worry about it spilling. The packaging really reminds me of a nail polish, not only because of the brush, but because it has a metal ball in it to shake up the product.

Product-
It glides on really smoothly and doesn't feel sticky or too dry. It takes on  a powder type finish once you apply it. I'm not  a huge fan of using this on my lips, because it leaves a matte type powdery finish, and I don't think matte products really compliment my skin. I do like this on the cheeks though because it is really easy to blend in.
Scent-
This product doesn't really have a super strong scent, in fact, it barely has one. If I had to compare it to anything, I'd say it reminds me of the scent of some of my powder pacts. So somewhat chemically? but not overly so that it would be unpleasant.

Color-
The color of this product is very unique. It's not exactly your typical peachy orange. It's more of a rosey orange or red orange shade. I think this color is really flattering for the fall months, but since we are in winter now, I'm going to have to wait a while to get some actual use.

Tutorial:

1. To apply this to your face, you want to take the brush and make 3 small lines going up your cheeks.

2. Take a beauty blender or any sponge you have on hand, and blend it in quickly.

3. Take your favorite base products, and apply over top.

~Finished Look~
The finished look is a very nice naturally flushed face, that has a good glow to it. I personally like this look for the winter time to create a nice flushed out of the cold look to the skin.

Pros:
    Nice Packaging
    Product Applies Smoothly
    Blends Nicely
    Easy to Use Applicator

Cons:
    Scent
It Doesn't Have Good Staying Power
Leaves a Powder Finish on Lips

Overall Rating: 3/5

Purchase?
Probably not

I hope you all enjoyed this review! Also thank you so much for your support and I can't wait to see what 2015 has in store for us. Who knows, maybe 20K views? I love you all so much! Be sure to comment down below what I should review next! Muah!

Lovelyz "Candy Jelly Love" Makeup Tutorial

Hi All!
So Wooliment Entertainment just made a new girl group called Lovelyz. They have an adorable aegyo feel that doesn't feel too over the top. Vocally I think they are very solid, and I can't wait for more from this group. Anyway, even though 'Candy Jelly Love' is their official debut mv, we did get another one, which I'll do a tutorial for hopefully within the next two weeks. Let's get started on this super easy makeup tutorial!

~Face~
1. Prime
To give the skin a more perfected look, I'm going in with a pore primer. I like the Dr. Young Anti-Pore Balm because it will help to clear the skin with botanical extracts, rather then just covering it up.

2. Highlight
To give a natural lit-from-within glow, I'm applying a liquid highlighter to the high points of my face before any foundation. I'm using the High Lighter Beam by The Face Shop because it has really nice cool toned shimmers.

3. Base
I'm then just applying a moisturizing BB Cream all over my face and blending it in with a sponge. I'm using the Innisfree Green Tea BB Cream because it has really nice coverage, and isn't too heavy on my skin.

4. Under Eyes
I'm going in with an orange-ish concealer underneath my eyes to conceal my dark circles and make them less of a problem. Here I'm using the Skinfood Rice Pen Concealer.

5. Conceal
Since I have a couple of spots, I'm just taking the Lioele Perfect Jumbo Concealer right on top. This is a very creamy concealer that won't make your face look cakey.

6. Setting
To set all the concealer's and BB Cream, I'm taking a light translucent powder and dusting it across my face. Here I'm using the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

~Eyes~

7. Brows
My brow routine is sooo simple, and if you have seen any of my other tutorials, then you know this is a super straight forwards routine. I comb through my brows, and go in with a powder. I love to use the Etude House Perfect Brow Kit.

8. Lid
Taking a light pink/beige color, I'm just going to sweep that over my eye lid, making sure to leave the crease clean. I'm using The Balm Nude 'Tude eye shadow in Stubborn.

9. Aegyo-Sal
Taking Snobby from that same palette, I'm applying it to my inner corners and aegyo-sal (that puffy skin on your under-eye). This will open up the eyes and give the face a brighter look.

10. Line
Taking a brown liner, I'm going to first tight line, and then apply it to my under eye tail in a wing shape. This will give the eyes a cuter, puppy look. I'm using the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Black Cocoa and blending it out with an angled brush.

11. Lashes
After curling my eyelashes, I'm just applying a good coat of the Innisfree Eco Curling Mascara. I love this because it doesn't clump up the lashes and it gives a lot of length and lift.

~Lips & Cheeks~

12. Blush
Taking a cool toned pink blush, I'm applying it to the apples of cheeks and blending it out towards my hair line. I'm using the Innisfree Eco Blush in Romantic Pink

13. Ulzzang- Gradient Lips
I'm taking NYX Hot Pink and applying it to the center portions of my lips and blending it out a bit, to make it gradient.

14. Gloss
I'm blending the edges of the gradient lip with a hot pink lipgloss. I'm using the NV Cosmetics Sugar Daddy Lip Gloss.

~Finished Look~

I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial! If you did be sure to check out my other Kpop inspired looks, and also comment down below what I should do next time. As always I love you all so much, and I'll see you on Monday, Muah!

Memebox Superbox #75: City Girl Review + EXCLUSIVE OFFERS!?

Hey Everyone!
Today I'm just doing a really quick overview of the new Memebox #75 City Girl. This box is said to feature Korean women's must have products, so I had to get my hands on it. I'm actually really satisfied with this box, and I did an unboxing on my YouTube, so I'll put that link here for you all. Anyway, Let's get into it, shall we?

"If you could only use one K-Beauty product for the rest of your life, what would it be? That's the question we asked all the ladies in Seoul City! We hunted down the beautiful ladies of Seoul to see which beauty products they can't live without to curate this special box, bursting with only the most buzzed about beauty innovation that's all the rave among hot Seoullites! When it comes to K-Beauty, these ladies are experts. Come on, have you ever come across a Korean woman who doesn't have the most put-together makeup and hauntingly flawless skin? We sure haven't."
That is quite the mouthful on an introduction, but it does give a nice segway into the boxes products, so let's dive right in.

1. Migabee Verbena Cream 50ml
Full size: 50ml
Price: $29.00
Product Description: Both deeply nourishing night cream and daily moisturizer, Migabee Verbena Cream promises supple, silky smooth complexion. It's formulated with a blend of shea butter, peptide complex, and natural moisturizing factors, thus improves skin elasticity and strengthens skin's innate ability to maintain moisture and protect itself from the external environment.
Thoughts: I'm definitely really curious about this product. Currently though, I'm working on using up my Tonymoly Tea Tree Sebum Lotion, but I do plan on trying this next as a day cream once the weather starts really making my skin dry. It doesn't have a very strong scent (or really one at all), and doesn't feel too heavy on contact, so I think I'll enjoy this product a lot.

2. Mizon Oh! Shy Gorgeous On Liquid Cheek 8ml
Full size: 8ml
Price: $16.00
Product Description: This light reflecting multifunctional blush and lip liquid glides on to refresh and enhance the complexion, creating a glowing radiance. Wear it alone, or mix it with your favorite BB Cream, or CC Cream to transform your skin from ordinary to extraordinary. Plus, the peachy coral shade is universally flattering for all skin tones. There is no way it can go wrong!
Thoughts: Well, I was expecting this to be more peachy toned, rather than so orange tinted. Don't get me wrong, it still looks good on my skin, but I was hoping for a really pretty peachy pink, rather than a rosey coral. It applies really smoothly though. I think it works best as a cheek tint if you apply it to your cheeks underneath your BB cream for a really pretty, naturally flushed look.

3. Shara Shara Dew Veil Primer Balm 25g
Full size: 25g
Price: $13.00
Product Description: With a formula based on avocado oil- rich in vitamin, iron, and niacin- this hydrating primer neutralizes the skin tone, soothe dry patches, and creates a smooth uniform canvas for flawless makeup application. Dew Veil Primer Balm helps to create a dewy supple complexion and keep makeup looking fresh as well.
Thoughts: This is a product that I was actually planning on buying, so I'm really happy to have this. Also I have no clue why the picture turned out so pink, but hey, what are ya gonna do? I really like how nice this primer feels on the skin and moisturizes it. I think the only downside for me is that since I have combination skin, while my cheeks love this, my t-zone tends to get a bit slick. I do think that this will be really nice though, when the weather really starts getting to my skin.

4. Original Raw Multi Pigment- I am Designer 10g x 3ea
Full size: 10g x 3ea
Price: $42.00
Product Description: Kiss goodbye to bulky makeup bags, because you'll be able to do everything from eye, lip, and cheek makeup with these Multi Pigments. Create a beautiful flush, a pretty pout, or glamorous eyes with this highly blendable and pigmented three-in-one formula. The creamy streak-free stain is enriched with amethyst, sunflower seed oil, pearl powder, and ruby powder.
My Thoughts: I really like this. I think it's fun to mix the pigments to get your own unique shade. So far, I've loved mixing Star Pink and Star Beige to create a uber flattering nude pink. These pigments really make you feel like an artist! Also, the fact that it has amethyst, pearl powder, and ruby powder, just makes you feel so luxurious. I definitely super psyched about this product.

5. Migabee Pure Berry Oil Soap Honey 310ml
Full size: 310ml
Price: $29.00
Product Description: An all- in-one multi cleanser for hair, body, and facial use. Pure Berry Oil Soap contains saponin complex for creating soft, creamy bubbles which soothe and hydrate sensitive skin while deep cleansing. The honey blend is made with bee venom, honey, propolis, and acai extracts and works to strengthen skin firmness and balance out uneven skin texture & tone.
Thoughts: I love this cleanser! I've used it a couple of times on my face and 1. It foams soooo nicely 2. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry 3. There is a ton of product 4. Doesn't make my skin feel greasy afterwards. Right now I'm polishing up the Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser, but once that one is out, I'm going to switch to this cleanser. It's really gentle on my skin and doesn't make me breakout, so this is probably one of the most exciting things in this box for me.

Overall Thoughts:
I love this Memebox soo much! All the products are full size, and ultra pampering to the skin. I have to say I'm digging the all the products they put in this box. Usually, I don't expect too much with Memebox, but this one went above and beyond. I like how not only did we get skincare products, but that we also go makeup.

Rating: 5/5
I have to say I'm happy with all these products!

That's all for today kids! I hope you enjoyed this review and I should have a new one to do in a couple weeks. I'm going to leave you all some coupons for Memebox. As always, I love you guys soo much! We've almost hit 10,000 views overall! I'm so blessed and thankful for all of your support and I'm excited to see what's in store for us. Muah!

D.I.Y Frank's Body Scrub

Hi ya!
This one is for all the coffee addicts out there. You know who you are, and it's okay. We are in this together. Here is a really simple scrub that you can make with 4 simple ingredients. Not only is this a great pick me up for tired skin, but with the holidays coming up, this is a great inexpensive gift that your friends will love! To make it more gift appropriate, put it in a mason jar and tie it off with a ribbon, and add a tag to let your friends know what it is. One of the nice things about this scrub, is that you can add whatever scent or spices you like and mix them in. This is just a base recipe that you can jump off from to create your own unique scrub.

Ingredients:

Coffee Grounds- Coffee beans are choc full of anti-oxidants which help to reduce the inflammation in your skin, as well as protect it from free radicals. It makes your skin look younger, tightens the pores, and effectly removes dead skin cells.

Sugar- Sugar is a natural exfoliate that won't clog your pores, and actually helps eliminate acne by balancing the skin's natural oils.

Honey- Honey is a natural antibiotic that helps to eliminate acne, as well as clean up the pores without stripping it of the natural oils. It also slows down the aging process to the skin, because it is full of antioxidants. Another skin bonus, is that it Honey makes your skin glow, and helps to create a balanced tone to your skin.

Olive Oil- Olive Oil is a great moisturizer, because even after you wash it off it regenerates your skin and keeps it smooth and supple while keeping the skin firm. It also helps skin heal, with all of it's restorative properties.

Okay, now that you have the low down on all the ingredients and their benefits, let's get started!

Directions:

1. Mix 1/4 cup of Coffee Grounds with 3/4 cup of Sugar.

2. Add in 2 TBSP of Honey and mix into the coffee/sugar

3. Pour in 1/2 of Olive Oil and mix all the ingredients together.

4. This is optional, but depending on what kind of spices you like, add as much as you like to the mixture. I added  about a TSP of Cinnamon and Pumpkin Spice to make it more festive.

5. Store Mixture in an air tight container. Can Last for up to 2-3 weeks

That's it! It's so easy to make scrubs at home, and it also is so beneficial for your skin. I like to use this scrub 2-3 times a week to keep my skin soft and supple. I really hope you all enjoyed this! If you did, be sure to tell me about it in the comments, plus any questions you have, can be left their, and I'll get back to you ASAP. I love ya'll so much, Muah!

The Face Shop Face It Pure CC Cream Review ~ 페이스 잇 퓨어 씨씨 크림 검토

    Hi!
So I've been meaning to do this review for a while now, and FINALLY I'm able to get to it. In August, one of my Unnie's visited us from Korea, and brought me home the Face Shop Face It Pure CC Cream. Since then, I've been using it in tutorials and throughout the months to test it out and decide how I felt about it. Before I get into my thoughts on this, lemme tell ya more about the product.

Packaging:
The box that this CC cream comes in is simple and shimmery. It has a gold cast to it and it is honestly really pretty. The pump container itself is simple and clean looking. It's very sleek, but still has that "aegyo" feel to it in a grown up way. I like this pump form mainly because I feel like I squeeze out way too much product sometimes, and end up wasting a lot of product. Also the pump form is much more hygienic.

Product:
The product is lightly tinted and isn't too thick or too thin. It's the perfect consistency of not too heavy and thick enough to provide good amounts of coverage. Even though this product isn't that pigmented, it conceals imperfections really nicely. It covers up my dark spots, scars, and most of my acne, although I do find that I have to use a concealer on my bigger acne spots. It glides on to my skin really smoothly and last all day for me. It comes in a few more shade options as well, but I'd say this product is best for fair-medium skin tones.

Claims:
Pure Skin CC Cream for lively, youthful looking skin. 3-in-1 wrinkle improvement, whitening, UV protection cosmetic
  • Achieve flawless skin with the oxidation-free formula-

The CC Cream contains illuminating powder that gives the skin a radiant glow. It also contains 02 container, a compound consisting of oxygenated water and oil.
  • Spa water for supple and moist skin-
The formula consists of over 46% moisturizing contents such as spa water that creates a moisturizing layer over the skin. This prevents tightness while restoring elasticity.
  • Rich and smooth span formula-
The rich and smooth texture, 'span formula', prevents clotting and slipping that often occurs when fixing makeup throughout the day.

My thoughts:
I love this CC cream! It makes my skin look so much brighter and even. I'd say it has medium coverage, which is really good. I love how moisturized my skin is with this product without the oily feel. I have combination skin, so for me this is great because my T-Zone doesn't get nearly as oily as it would normally with a moisturizing product. While it doesn't go from white to your skin's tone, It does adjust to your skin without the white cast some CC creams leave. Overall, I'm really pleased with this product and think it's totally worth the price.

Where to purchase:
You could purchase this on Amazon for $18.99 + S&H :
or
Kpoptown for $17.11 + S&H:
or
Jolse for $17.53 + S&H:

Overall Rating: 5/5

I hope that you all enjoyed this review! tell me in the down bar what your favorite CC Cream is and maybe it'll get featured in a review! Also, I have some Memebox codes to share with you all, so I'll leave those down below. I love you all so much and I will see you on my YouTube on Monday, Muah!

Etude House I Need You Sheet Masks Review + Memebox Exclusive Codes!

Hi Doll!
I know that I am so late posting this week, but I've had parties going on for the past couple nights and have been so busy during the day. But I am back with a new review and this is for the Etude House I Need You sheet masks. My Unnie, Hyeyeun, brought some back from Korea when she was visiting us for the summer, and I finally got around to trying them out. So here are my thoughts on a couple of these masks, let's get started, shall we?

Ingredients I like:
Grapefruit Extract, Camellia leaf extract, Sophora Angustifolia root extract, Honeysuckle flower extract, Peach leaf extract, Paeonia albiflora root extract, Ginkgo leaf extract, Scutellaria baicalensis root extract.
**** All mask sheets have the same base ingredients****

1. I Need You Rice! Mask Sheet ~ Purifying

Claims: This mask sheet contains rice extract that brightens up dull and rough skin for smooth and healthy skin.
     My Thoughts:
